Dusty, unsurfaced roads are currently a major issue in Cape York. People have no option but to constantly wet the roads to prevent breathing in excessive airborne dust, which studies show is a health risk. This is a huge factor in unsustainable water usage in Cape York. We believe that building gravel roads in residential areas to replace the dirt roads will save water and greatly benefit local people
